World Missions at FBC
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20
Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,
but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16
This is what is written:
The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,
and repentance and forgiveness of sins
will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
You are my witnesses of these things. Luke 24:46-48
As the Father sent me, I am sending you.
If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven;
if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven. John 20:21,23
You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
And how can they preach unless they are sent? Romans 10:14-15a
It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel
where Christ was not known,
so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation.
Rather, as it is written:
Those who were not told about him will see,
and those who have not heard will understand. Romans 15:20-21

Missions at Fellowship Bible Church is all about obeying these
commands from Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We desire to send out
cross-cultural evangelists and church planters to the least-reached people
groups of the world.

FBC Missions Budget for 2009: $57,732
These funds contribute to the long-term support of 11 missionary
families, working in North and South America, Europe, Africa, and
Southeast Asia. They also help send out our members
on a variety of short-term missions trips.
The Missions Team:
Randy Thompson, team leader
Karen Skelton
Jamus Skelton
Veronica Palmer
Brion Burns, missions elder
These people are tasked with:
-implementing the missions policy
-making recommendations to the elders on every practical aspect of
recruiting, sending, supporting, and caring for missionaries
-encouraging FBC members toward greater obedience to the Great Commission through an annual missions conference,
quarterly missions prayer meetings, and weekly 'Moment for Mission' updates (a short update on a missionary's prayer needs, followed by prayer
during the Sunday morning service).
Anyone interested in joining the Missions Team should contact Randy Thompson.
